Threads of our lives

When there are this number of threads to tie in, the only method I use now is that shown by Leah Day, using an easy-thread needle, ( also known as a calyx needle).  I would really like to try these, but the cost is a bit prohibitive.

  1. Great photo! I can't believe that I've never heard about spiral eye needles - another note to add to my C&G folder!

  2. Gosh the spiral ones are expensive, but good to know fir when my eyes get even worse!!!! I thread a short piece of thickish thread into a needle, threading the two ends together, i push the needle in when the errant thread ends, then push that through the new loop and pull the needle out, does that make sense?
